The former home of artist James Ensor, and his housekeeper August Van Yper. They lived there and worked here from 1917 to Ensor’s death in 1950. The house is situated in Oostende's Vlaanderenstraat, on the Kapellestraat extension. The building was renovated again in 2000. The Mu.ZEE board of Ostend has taken care of the Ensorhuis and the Permekemuseum since 2008.
