Zuilen-Noord, a neighbourhood in Utrecht's northwest district, is located in the Netherlands. The neighborhood is bordered by the Zuilenselaan, the Amsterdamsestraatweg, the van Heukelomlaan, and the Vecht river. Zuilen-Noord had a population of 3,765 as of 2017.
Zuilen-Noord's history dates back to 1930, when Utrecht needed new housing developments. The city had no space to expand, so the decision was taken to build on land that was previously the municipality of Zuilen. The Eigen Haard housing group completed the neighborhood in 1940. Additional construction took place over the years. Zuilen-Noord, along with other nearby areas, was annexed to Utrecht in 1954.
The neighborhood has recently undergone a process of renewal with the demolition and replacement of the Pedagogenbuurt apartments, built in 1950s.
Zuilen-Noord is also home to the former Daelwijck Town Hall of Zuilen and the Sportpark Zuilen which is situated on the border between Utrecht Maarssen, and is the home of the Elinkwijk Football Club.
